Sajid Nadiadwala
President, IFTPC
Welcome to the Indian Film and Television Producers Council’s (IFTPC) website. As one of the leading and prestigious councils of the industry, we seek to build long lasting partnerships with fellow film and television producers who share our vision of collaboration, progression and prosperity.
The prime purpose of our existence is to ensure that an amicable and productive environment prevails in the entertainment industry. We believe that where there is cooperation there is progress. We feel privileged to be able to solve some of the critical problems that our members face. We step in as an intermediary to resolve differences that our members may have with technicians, distributors, exhibitors, artists and other partners from the film fraternity. We are committed to maintain highest standards of professionalism and unbiased behaviour towards everyone we work with, the communities we touch, and the environment on which we have an impact. I would like to use this opportunity to introduce you to our aspiration, continuous commitment and positive impact.
Our Aspiration
Our purpose of existence sets out our aspiration in running the council. We are driven by member-centric and member-welfare actions. Our actions also support our mission to fair resolutions, transparency and responsibility towards the industry and society. Our code of operations principles that describes these standards are followed not only by the governing council but also by every employee and member at the IFTPC. We aspire to be an exemplary trade council in India.
Continuous Commitment
Although we have a proud history of achievements, we are committed to continuously improve the way we manage our strategies, people, processes and capabilities. We are working towards our longer-term goals of developing a sustainable business for all our members and making the entertainment industry productive and attractive.
Positive Impact
We aim to make a positive impact in many ways: through our partnership with government and the I&B ministry, our operations and relationships, through voluntary contributions, and through the various other ways in which we engage with society. We have been working with other industry council who have objectives similar to our own and are committed to work to the same standards as we do.And finally, I would like to close my note with an appeal to keep up the collaborative spirit and empathy for fellow producers. Our unity not only helps us build the industry but also empowers us to thrive in our unique creative and commercial space.
Yours truly,
Sajid Nadiadwala.
